French-born composer and singer-songwriter Andayoma, whose stage name is a portmanteau of her daughters’ first names, has a special place in the Singapore jazz scene, having made a distinct impression with her Creole roots, Caribbean rhythms and her ironic, joyful and nostalgic jazz rooted in the tangy complexity of human relationships.

In 1998, Andayoma lent her powerful voice to a gospel choir in Rueil-Malmaison. She gained experience and joined her first singing tour. In 2001, she settled in Singapore and began her career as a singer, nurturing a growing passion for songwriting and composition. Her new life in Asia provided allowed her to step back and observe her contemporaries. She sees jazz as the perfect medium to express her thoughts on human contradictions.
